Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between TCX and GPX?+
TCX carries extra sport and course data (course points, heart rate, cadence). GPX is simpler and more universal — it imports more reliably into everyday maps and planners.
Will I lose course points?+
GPX doesn't model Garmin course points the way TCX does. The track and waypoints are kept; if you instead want to build a watch course, export to TCX or FIT.
Do I need an account?+
No. The TCX conversion happens right in your browser, free and without sign-up. Nothing reaches the server until you save the route as GPX for sharing (kept 24 hours without an account).
