Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of runilo.com and the Runilo application operated by DIGITAL WOLF s.r.o. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Runilo provides

Runilo is an online GPX editor for runners, cyclists and hikers: route import (GPX, KML, FIT, TCX), map editing, drawing along roads, time and pace settings, file checks and export for sports watches and navigation devices. Core features are free and need no registration. A free account adds permanent route storage and a limited number of saved projects. Premium features (marked with a crown) will be paid; until they launch they cannot be activated. The AI coach is in development and is not part of the service until we announce it.

Account

Anyone aged 16 or over may create an account. Provide a real e-mail address and protect your password; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person, one account. You may close your account at any time by writing to [email protected]; closing it deletes your stored routes and projects.

Free features and Premium

The free part of the service is provided without an availability guarantee and may change. Premium membership will be a prepaid subscription through the Stripe payment gateway at the price shown on the pricing page including VAT; it can be cancelled at any time in the customer portal and Premium stays active until the end of the paid period. No refund is due for a period already started, without prejudice to statutory consumer rights. The exact subscription terms will be published at launch.

Your content

Routes, projects and other data you upload remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, process and display them to the extent needed to provide the service (including showing a shared route to anyone you send the link to). You are responsible for holding the rights to uploaded content and for it containing no malicious code. Routes uploaded without an account are deleted after 24 hours.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, upload files with harmful content, circumvent limits or security mechanisms, bulk-download map tiles or data, overload the service or interfere with its operation. Violations may lead to access being blocked without compensation.

Maps and third-party data

Map layers are provided by Freemap.sk, OpenStreetMap (data © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) and Esri, routing by BRouter, elevations by Open-Meteo and place search by Photon. By using the editor you also agree to those providers' terms; in particular, bulk tile downloading is not permitted.

Partner offers and advertising

The editor may show partner discount codes and banners; these are affiliate links from which we may earn a commission. The seller of the goods or service is always the partner and the partner's terms apply. Details are in the Affiliate Disclosure.

Safety outdoors

Routes, elevations, times and paces are indicative calculations from the data you upload and from public maps. They may contain errors. Outdoors, follow signage, current conditions and your own judgement; you are responsible for your own safety and health. Runilo is not intended as the sole source of navigation in demanding terrain.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profit, loss of data or damage arising from the use of exported routes. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the last 12 months. These limits do not apply where the law excludes them, in particular towards consumers within their non-waivable rights.

Changes and termination

We may change the service, its features and these terms. Account holders are informed of material changes to the terms at least 14 days in advance. If you disagree with a change you may close your account. We may restrict or terminate access for breaches of these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Disputes are heard by Czech courts, without prejudice to consumers' rights to the courts of their residence. Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz) or the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
